Extended exhibition
Second part of the theme “Artists in Montmartre” initiated in the spring of 2016, “Mythical places and workshops” is the new flagship exhibition offered to the public from October 5th, 2018 to January 20, 2019. However, victim of its Success, it has been extended until February 12th ! An event highlighting the artists who crested the Butte since the second half of the 19th century. Visitors complete a discovery tour of the places where these talented people lived and realized some of their greatest works.
The great artistic movements
Impressionism, cubism, nabi or naturalism … We find the different movements that marked this era in the north of the capital. Public addresses include the famous Bateau-Lavoir by Picasso and the Musée Montmartre, which replaced the Renoir workshop at 12 Rue Courtot. These are spots that reflect the inspiring atmosphere in which all these artists evolved. Price to come to contemplate these places and unequaled works: 12 euros. Except if you benefit from reduced rates granted especially to students and people with disabilities.
